How Can I Make My Smile Brighter and Whiter?

Two ways to a brighter and whiter smile.

If you want whiter and brighter teeth, there are two procedures that will achieve that goal for you.

  • If you are happy with the shape and alignment of your teeth, then we would recommend tooth whitening. The Zoom whitening procedure can get your teeth dramatically whiter. Read our page about that procedure for more information.
  • Another option would be porcelain veneers. This is more involved and more expensive than tooth whitening. With porcelain veneers you have complete control over the final shade of your teeth, and they will also be shaped and aligned to your desires.

Lafayette, Louisiana porcelain veneers and whitening

The before and after photos above are of Ann. She was unhappy with the color and the shapes of her upper teeth, so Dr. Malone gave her porcelain veneers on the upper. On the lower, she liked the shapes but only wanted them brighter, so he whitened those teeth for her. Both techniques contribute to a beautiful, sparkling smile.
