What is a dental bridge?
A dental bridge replaces a missing tooth by suspending a false tooth between two other teeth.
The way this is accomplished is that the teeth on either side are prepared for crowns and then the two crowns and the false tooth are fabricated as one piece and cemented onto the teeth.
A dental bridge is considered permanent because it is placed with a very durable cement.
Many dental bridges that replace missing front teeth look fake. But they don’t have to. Modern cosmetic dentistry techniques can provide a natural-looking smile, even when there is a missing natural tooth.
