You might be thinking, how can you generalize the condition of an entire city’s teeth? Of course, this cannot be done entirely accurately. But in using statistics, we can get a good idea of, in a geographic sense, who is taking care of their teeth and who isn’t.
Dr. Irwin Smigel, founder and creator of the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology (ASDA) and founder of Supersmile certainly has the credentials to set the criteria for good teeth as stated on TotalBeauty.com:
“Regular dentist visits, not smoking, keeping your soda, wine and coffee intake to a minimum, overall health, living in a humid enough climate (so your mouth doesn’t dry out and allow bacteria to flourish), and brushing and flossing regularly.”
Check out the list here and see where your city ranked with the rest. (The lists are courtesy of TotalBeauty.com’s lists of Best-Teeth Cities and Worst-Teeth Cities).
